Google frequently hides features behind flags until they’re ready. These features occasionally make it into stable releases, but they can also vanish without notice. However, operating the innovative and beta features comes with this risk.
To enable Google Chrome Flags to Test Beta Features, follow these simple instructions:
- To begin, go to your device’s Chrome browser. Chrome flags are available for Android Phones, Android tablets Mac, Linux Windows, iPhone, Linux, iPad.
- Then, in the address box, type chrome:/flags and press enter.
- You’ll now be on the “Experimental” page. It’s broken down into two sections: Available and Unavailable. Start looking for a certain flag or go through the existing list of “Available” Chrome Flags.
- When you discover the option for a Chrome flag, just direct the cursor upon the option to enable it. Now, go to the drop-down menu (it should say “Default.”) and pick “Enabled.”
- After activating a flag, you’ll have to reboot or restart your web browser to access the newly enabled features. Before relaunching, you can enable additional flags. When you’re ready, click the blue “Relaunch” button.
