Binge TV, often referred to as Binge, is an Australian subscription-based streaming service that offers its subscribers a wide array of television shows, movies, and documentaries. It was launched on 25 May 2020 and is operated by Streamotion Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of Foxtel Group.
How to activate binge on smart TV
- Download the Binge App:
- For Samsung TVs: Navigate to the Samsung TV app store, search for Binge, and download the Binge app.
- For Android TVs: Download the Binge app for Android TV OS and install it on your Android TV.
- For other smart TVs: You’ll likely need to download the Binge app from the respective app store on your smart TV.
- Open the Binge App:
- On your smart TV, open the Binge app and select “Sign In.”
- Activation Code:
- After selecting “Sign In,” you’ll see an activation code on your TV screen.
- On another device (e.g., smartphone or laptop), navigate to the URL as prompted on your TV screen or go to binge.com.au/connect.
- Enter the activation code displayed on your TV screen.
- If your code has expired, select “Try again” on your TV to generate a new code3.
- Confirmation:
- Once you’ve confirmed your 8-digit code, you may be asked to enter your login details3.
- Subscription:
- If you aren’t a current Binge subscriber, you must subscribe to Binge via a web browser before proceeding.
- Start Streaming:
- After signing in or completing the subscription process, you can stream Binge content on your smart TV.
Please make sure that your smart TV is compatible with the Binge app. The compatibility varies with the model and make of your smart TV; for instance, Binge is available on selected Hisense Smart TV devices (selected 2020 and later models) and on Samsung TVs 2017 or later models.
